... Read moreThe recent Supreme Court ruling that significantly undermined the Voting Rights Act has reignited a vital conversation about the need for structural reforms within the Court itself. Many citizens, including myself, feel strongly that implementing term limits for Supreme Court justices could prevent lifetime appointments from leading to entrenched biases and ensure the Court remains responsive to changing societal values. Additionally, establishing a binding code of ethics for the Court is crucial. Unlike other branches of government, the Supreme Court currently lacks a formal ethical framework, which can lead to conflicts of interest or informal standards that vary widely. A clear, enforceable code would promote transparency and public trust. Expanding the Supreme Court is another discussed solution to maintain a balanced judiciary. By increasing the number of justices, the Court could be better equipped to represent diverse viewpoints and reduce partisan deadlocks. From a personal perspective, staying informed about these issues has made me more active in advocating for voting rights and judicial accountability. Engaging with community discussions and supporting organizations working toward these reforms feels like a meaningful way to contribute to preserving our democratic principles. These discussions are more than political debates—they shape the future of how justice is administered in the United States. By demanding term limits, a code of ethics, and expansion, we can work toward a Supreme Court that upholds the Constitution and protects the rights of all Americans.

we all know the struggle 😅 you don’t feel like you can say no to plans. someone asks about details of your life you don’t want to share, but you feel obligated. your manager asks you to work more hours, and you automatically say yes. breaking the people pleasing cycle is uncomfortable as hell. i
