We managed to swim alongside a majestic sea turtle in the impossibly clear turquoise waters – a truly magical experience that delivered on the promise of 'comfort and peace of mind.' We even found some fantastic bespoke tour options that handled all the logistics, allowing us to simply soak in the adventure. If you're looking for that 'high-end' feel, consider staying at resorts that offer private beach access and curated excursions. If you're into self-drive vacations, the main island offers breathtaking coastal drives where you'll encounter dramatic cliffs overlooking the blue ocean and discover hidden, pristine beaches perfect for a family beach sunset. The natural beauty here is just astounding, from lush green hills to vibrant tropical foliage and serene gardens featuring beautiful pink water lilies and intricate Jade Vine arches – talk about an 'Okinawa aesthetic'!
