I also found that honesty prevents misunderstandings and helps resolve conflicts more effectively. When both partners communicate authentically, it fosters trust—another crucial element for intimacy. Without honesty, we might live side-by-side yet remain emotionally distant, echoing the phrase 'you’re just nearby.'
