If you have been following me for a little bit, you probably know that St. Petersburg is my absolute favorite Florida city. Beautiful beaches, laid-back west coast vibes, amazing food scene, murals and street art everywhere and more breweries than you can count!
I'm sharing our go-to hotel for when we visit. Sirata Beach Resort is located right on St. Pete Beach (see second photo 😍) and IMO is the perfect location. You get to reside on the beach, enjoy all the cute dives and beach bars, but are also are only a quick 10 minute drive to downtown St. Petersburg.
The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and most importantly, dog friendly! (Little Coco is no longer with us but she LOVED all of our holidays here). There are two restaurants/beach bars and two pools (the food is nothing to write home about but they have happy hour and live music, and I'd go into the city anyways to enjoy the amazing restaurant scene!). They also have on-site beach access, fire pits (I know, it's Florida - but I DO love a good fire) and literal front row seats to the sunset.
Super affordable for a beach front and we have always had a great stay. See link below but also adding link to my bio.
... Read moreYou know how much I rave about St. Petersburg, Florida, and finding the perfect place to stay makes all the difference. That's why I keep coming back to Sirata Beach Resort! Let me tell you a bit more about why it’s my go-to, especially for those looking into the specific features like the pools, parking, and overall resort experience.
First off, the Sirata Beach Resort pools are a definite highlight. They boast *multiple swimming pools*, which is fantastic because it means there's usually a spot for everyone, whether you're looking for a lively family swim or a more relaxed area. I've spent countless hours lounging by the *resort pool area*, enjoying the sunshine and a refreshing red frozen drink – it really makes you feel like you're on vacation. And of course, the beachfront location is unparalleled. Having direct access to the wide white sand beach and the blue ocean water is simply magical. You can literally walk out of your room and onto the sand for a morning stroll or to catch a breathtaking vibrant sunset over the Gulf. The aerial views I've seen truly capture just how perfectly situated the resort is.
The Sirata Beach Resort exterior has a welcoming, classic Florida charm. You’ll see plenty of palm trees swaying, and there are even cozy spots like the hammocks by the beach, perfect for unwinding with a book. The layout of the resort is easy to navigate, making it a breeze to get from your room to the beach, the pool, or the on-site dining. Speaking of convenience, let's talk *parking*. It's always a big concern for me when I travel, and Sirata offers convenient *on-site parking*, which is a huge relief when you’re staying at a busy *St. Pete Beach beachfront resort*.
Now, for my fellow pet parents, this place is a dream. Finding dog-friendly accommodations that are actually welcoming can be tough, but Sirata excels. My sweet Coco adored her holidays here, and it made our trips so much more enjoyable knowing she was comfortable and welcome. When it comes to dining, while the article mentioned the food isn't gourmet (and I agree, downtown St. Pete has an amazing food scene I always explore!), the beach bars at Sirata are fantastic for happy hour and often feature live music. It's the perfect spot to grab a casual bite or a drink while enjoying the ocean breeze. Plus, those fire pits on the beach with Adirondack chairs at sunset? Utterly romantic and fun!
Many people search for Sirata Beach Resort reviews before booking, and from my experience and what I've gathered, guests consistently praise the unbeatable location, direct beach access, and overall value for a beachfront property. While some might wish for more upscale dining options on-site, the convenience, comfortable rooms, and friendly atmosphere always shine through. If you're curious about a *Sirata Beach Resort all inclusive package*, it's good to know that Sirata typically operates on a more traditional à la carte model for food and activities, giving you the freedom to explore local eateries. But for a truly authentic and relaxing St. Pete Beach vacation, Sirata is a perfect choice!
