Got sad down right before summer is crazzzy work . But im happy to be a mom tho #firsttimemom
Becoming a first-time mom is one of the most transformative experiences in life, and it often comes with a whirlwind of emotions. From my own journey, I’ve found that balancing the overwhelming demands of summer work with the responsibilities of caring for a baby can be both exhausting and incredibly rewarding. Often, the days feel crazily busy, leaving little time for rest or reflection. I remember feeling sad and overwhelmed right before summer, as the workload seemed non-stop, yet the joy of motherhood made every challenge worthwhile. It’s normal to encounter moments where everything feels like a “face card screaming trap,” where you’re caught between the urgent needs of your baby and the pressure of work commitments. What helped me the most was embracing the chaos instead of resisting it. Allowing myself to acknowledge the difficult days without guilt made a huge difference. Connecting with other first-time moms, sharing stories, and realizing that these emotions are shared universally helped me feel supported. Also, finding small pockets of happiness—like a smile from my baby or a quiet moment of rest—provided much-needed relief. For anyone else facing this intense and crazy phase, remember that it’s okay to feel overwhelmed. Taking things one day at a time, seeking support, and celebrating small victories can turn the craaazzzzzyyy moments into cherished memories. Motherhood is a journey filled with highs and lows, but each step builds strength and love that lasts a lifetime.
