Jesus heals a sick woman
Matthew 9:22 “Jesus turned and saw her. “Have courage, daughter,” he said. “Your faith has saved you.” And the woman was made well from that moment.
I really liked this verse because if we go back and do a little reading on this woman; She has been bleeding for 12 years. During that time line woman were considered unclean for that time of the month, so she was probably alone and distanced from her hubby and children if she had any. Using my imagination, im assuming she could have been to many doctors yet none had the solution to her problem, given that it continued for 12 years. While hearing about a man who preforms miracles, she made a choice to have FAITH in him even if she could only touch a string of his garment. I feel like this is very important to keep in our heart bc during hard times it’s difficult to hold on to faith especially when we don’t see anything happening. Honestly she’s taught me to be desperate for Jesus, it’s easy to fall into worldly habits and give into the devils thoughts but we have to make the choice everyday to follow Jesus.
