Motherhood is often described as life-changing, but it’s truly a transformative journey that goes far beyond. From my own experiences and reflections, I’ve found that motherhood softens your heart while simultaneously strengthening your spirit. It humbles you as you encounter moments of vulnerability and uncertainty, yet each tear and prayer teaches a deeper kind of love—one without conditions or limits. In our daily lives, motherhood often brings unexpected turns. Whether it's navigating the challenges of foster care, guardianship, or adoption, the path is rarely straightforward. But these experiences open doors to incredible forms of love and faith. Personally, embracing these moments of uncertainty has reaffirmed my trust in divine timing and the power of faith to carry us through. Engaging with community hashtags like #FosterCareAwareness and #AdoptionJourney has connected me with many others walking similar paths. We share stories of hope, struggle, and victory, each reinforcing the idea that love perseveres—in spite of circumstances. For women of faith, motherhood also deepens the spiritual journey, requiring us to lean harder on trust and faith over fear. Through writing and sharing my story, the series In Our Hearts From The Start was born, aiming to inspire others who are navigating their own motherhood journeys. It’s a reminder that no matter the trials, love is the foundation that stands strong. Things normalized in motherhood that aren’t normal

There’s a-lot more we go through that stays unsaid. We need to share more of those realistic moments and know we are all struggling in the same way, it’s sad that society has made these common and normalized in motherhood. It’s just another reason to believe that we are amazing.🩷
