Your body Starts saying NO
when your body starts saying no
I don’t think people talk enough about what happens when your body starts responding differently to someone you love.
Maybe affection feels forced.
Maybe you avoid being touched.
Maybe intimacy starts feeling like pressure instead of connection.
Maybe your body is present… but your heart and mind are somewhere else.
It can feel confusing.
You start asking yourself if something is wrong with you.
If you’ve fallen out of love.
If you’ve changed.
I’ve been learning that our bodies often respond to more than physical attraction.
They respond to emotional safety.
To feeling heard.
To trust.
To resentment that has gone unspoken.
To stress that has built up over time.
To carrying too much for too long.
That doesn’t automatically mean the relationship is over.
And it doesn’t mean your body is always “right.”
But I do think it’s worth becoming curious instead of ashamed.
What is your body trying to tell you?
What needs have gone unmet?
What conversations have been avoided?
What feelings have you been pushing aside?
Sometimes our bodies speak the words we’ve been afraid to say out loud.
Have you ever felt your body change before your mind fully understood why?

I know I’m young but when I think about having sex with people I’m scared because I can’t get over the fact I hate my body and don’t want others to see it
