Maybe “success” changed…

6/3 Edited to

... Read moreIn today’s fast-paced world, the traditional idea of success often feels outdated or even hollow. From personal experience, I’ve found that repeatedly asking meaningful questions can transform how we perceive success and guide us toward a more fulfilling career journey. For example, one key question is: What version of success was I chasing before I truly understood myself? This reflection often reveals if our efforts were driven by external expectations or genuine passion. Another important question is identifying something you worked hard for that now feels less relevant. This can help clarify whether the sacrifices were worth it or if it’s time to pivot. It’s also empowering to recognize your biggest triumph right now, as this can illuminate the strengths and values you want to carry forward. I’ve learned that success is less about ticking boxes and more about evolving your definition based on where you are in life. Sometimes, what once felt challenging starts to feel easier, and highlighting these changes can provide motivation and insight. Looking ahead, I ask myself: What do I hope will feel steadier or lighter in the coming years? Questioning everything about success isn’t about doubting yourself; it’s about exploring and owning your unique path. This mindset shift can lead to lighter, steadier progress and more meaningful milestones that truly reflect who you are and what you truly want from your career and life.

Maybe closure is accepting that the story changed
Maybe the reason some chapters are so hard to let go of… is because we spent so long imagining how they would’ve ended. Sometimes we’re not grieving what happened. We’re grieving what could have been. The version of the story we wrote in our heads. The plans we made. The future we pictur
