Is it that bad? 🤷♀️
Hi Dollar Tree Friends!
I finally found this at my DT today and I was super excited! Came home and saw a review that it is HORRIBLE for your body. :/
Reviews? Thoughts? Any dermatologist/cosmetologist friends have thoughts? It smells so good and I saw some other reviews that it did well with their thin hair so I’ve been wanting to try it.

When considering beauty products, ingredient safety is paramount. The hair product mentioned contains items like BHT (Butylated Hydroxytoluene), which has raised concerns for its potential endocrine-disrupting effects, particularly on thyroid function. Although BHT is used for its antioxidant properties in cosmetics, studies have shown it may impact fertility and development, pushing regulatory agencies like the European Chemicals Agency to call for further assessments. Additionally, ingredients such as phenoxyethanol and various fragrances have moderate risks associated and could act as allergens for sensitive individuals. Consumer reviews regarding the effectiveness of the product for thin hair are mixed, leading many users to seek dermatologists' opinions on its safety. Despite its pleasant scent and potential benefits someone may experience, prioritizing ingredient transparency is vital. Always research product labels and stay informed about the potential health impacts of the items we choose to apply to our bodies. It's essential to curate a beauty routine that aligns with our health values and concerns, especially when exploring affordable options like those at Dollar Tree.
