Saturday night, but we still chose to show up!

Monthly end meet up on a Saturday night. Honestly, it would have been so easy to just stay home, rest, or do the usual things. But we showed up, not because we had to, but because we wanted to do something for ourselves too.

Mums, dads, singles, all coming together, spending time learning, listening, and just being in a space that reminds you to keep growing.

It’s not always about big changes, sometimes it’s just this small decision to show up, even on a Saturday night, for your own growth.

... Read moreAttending a monthly meet-up on a Saturday night can feel like a small act of commitment, but it represents much more — a dedication to personal development and community connection. From my own experience, these gatherings create a unique atmosphere where people from various walks of life, whether working parents or singles, come together not just to learn but to remind each other of the importance of consistent growth. The phrase "showing up" resonates deeply because it’s not about major lifestyle shifts overnight, but about the small yet deliberate decisions to prioritize oneself amidst busy schedules. I remember many evenings where choosing a night out felt exhausting, but the energy and motivation gained from participating fueled my drive forward. The hashtag #smallstepsdaily truly encapsulates how these efforts, compounded over time, lead to meaningful progress. Moreover, such meet-ups emphasize inclusivity — everyone is welcome to share their perspectives and support each other’s journeys. It’s not just about the content shared but the collective spirit that fosters resilience and accountability. For anyone balancing work, family, and personal aspirations, making time on a weekend night might seem challenging, yet it can be profoundly rewarding. Incorporating regular gatherings helps reinforce habits like consistency, which is often the key to long-term success. Engaging in discussions around #personalgrowth and hearing real stories helps participants harness motivation even during tough days. Ultimately, it's these moments of choosing growth over comfort that build stronger, more fulfilled individuals ready to face their challenges with confidence.

We didn’t have the luxury of time so we couldn’t get paint samples to try on our walls, we didn’t even go to a single paint shop to see the colours for ourselves. Now, this would usually spell a bad omen since we were going with ONE colour throughout. It was make or break. But here’s what I
