Busy Mum. Full Time Job. Still Showing Up.

People often talk about motivation, but motivation also do comes and goes.

Some days I'm tired after work.

Some days family commitments take up the whole day.

Some days I just want to switch off and do nothing 😂

But what keeps me going isn't motivation. It's consistency.

💯 Showing up for a few minutes during lunch break.

💯 Replying to messages before bed.

💯 Learning something new.

💯 Taking action even when the results aren't immediate.

💯 These little things may seem small, but they add up over time.

Tonight launching my new ad 😊, not my 1st time 😂 but I still a little nervous, paisei, and a little excited.

A big thank you to Coach Mabel and Jelyn for their guidance, patience, and support. 😘

Sometimes having people who believe in you and guide you along the way makes all the difference.

One post, one lesson, one action at a time. That's how progress is built.

... Read moreAs a busy mum juggling a full-time job, family responsibilities, and personal goals, I can truly relate to the challenge of staying consistent when motivation ebbs and flows. Some days, after a tiring day at work, I just want to switch off completely, but I’ve learned that small, consistent actions help me push forward even in those moments. Showing up for just a few minutes during a lunch break or replying to messages before bed might seem insignificant, but these little efforts accumulate over time and build momentum. For instance, I once committed to learning something new every day, even if it was just a 10-minute read or quick tutorial. Over weeks, that added up to significant knowledge and skill improvement. Launching new projects, like an ad campaign, can be nerve-wracking — the excitement and a bit of nervousness are natural. But having coaches, mentors, or supportive peers who believe in you truly makes a difference. Their guidance energizes you and helps maintain that consistency that’s crucial when results aren’t immediate. Reflecting on this, it’s clear that the key isn’t in relying solely on motivation, which can be fleeting, but in committing to consistent small actions. It might be sending a quick update, learning a new technique, or simply showing up mentally and emotionally. These habits form a foundation that helps busy parents, especially working mums, keep progressing steadily. Finally, if you’re balancing work and family like me, remember to celebrate every small win. Each post, lesson, or action is a step towards growth. A consistent approach creates momentum, transforms challenges into progress, and ultimately leads to fulfilling your goals despite a busy schedule. Keep showing up, because those small steps really do matter.
