Here are some tips to help you manage your anxiety and depression
Anxiety: intense, excessive, persistent, worry or fear about everyday situations, the future etc.
1. What’s going on in the current moment?
2. How will this affect me?
3. Why am I feeling this? (Recognize insecurity)
4. How does what I’m thinking affect me? (Recognize impact)
5. Is what I’m thinking about now a threat to my life? (Is it life or death?)
6. Do I know the outcome? (Is what I think will happen actually come to pass or am I doom thinking?)
7. Can I change the outcome? (If not accept what you cannot change and change what you cannot accept (if you’re able)
To a accept the things you cannot change, the courage to change what things you can and the
wisdom to know the difference is what I found to help me, but now I ask what helps you?
Depression: a mood disorder that involves a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest in activities.
We all get depressed, depression can look like many things.
A good way to deal with depression is to
1. Accept that you are feeling this way
2. Know it’s okay to not be okay as cliche as it sounds it’s true.
3. If you can isolate yourself (have you time to just feel)
4. Therapist aren’t always helpful (I know when I was depressed my therapist told me I had anger issues so I never when back to therapy)
5. Eat and or drink water if you’re able to
6. Go for walks
7. Reach out to loved ones occasionally and be open with them on what you are feeling.
