In 1943, during World War II, the body of a missing girl was found in his own home on the body of a young girl on his forehead, whose hands and feet were tattooed with a strange phrase that meant "home, goat, leave the pong," causing a young inspector like "Veik" to find out the truth of this devastating murder.
What would this fact-finding story look like? What does the tattoo on the victim mean? Who would the killer be? And why would he do that?
The plot / story is very good, very fun, the investigation is very intense, it will become more and more complicated, but it is not difficult to understand. The setting is in the metropolitan area, Thonburi during World War II, very good, very charming, very like.
The operation of the story is not very fast. Gradually search for the truth. Continue to solve the mystery. There is a peak. There is a constant twist. The truth that is read now may be broken into another reading in the forward reading. This makes the story very interesting. Pick it up and don't want to paste it.
Guessing at some point seems to be guessing, but it's not all guessing, and it's getting more and more complicated, it's getting more and more peak and wow, especially the way the killer's victims are recruited, the descent is complicated, the descent is extraordinary.

ก่อนอ่าน “กาหลมหรทึก” เราแนะนำให้ตั้งโหมดไว้เลยว่าเล่มนี้เป็นนิยายสืบสวน-ฆาตกรรมที่ “ค่อย ๆ เก็บหลักฐาน” มากกว่านิยายแอ็กชันไล่ล่า คือช่วงแรกจะปูบรรยากาศพระนคร–ธนบุรีในปี พ.ศ. 2486 ให้แน่นมาก (ช่วงสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2) แล้วค่อยพาเราเดินตามสารวัตรเวทางค์ไปทีละปม ใครที่ชอบงานสืบสวนแบบมีรายละเอียดและเหตุผลรองรับ น่าจะถูกจริตสุด ๆ หลายคนเสิร์ชว่า “กาหลมหรทึก หนังสือ” หรือ “กาหลมหรทึก นิยาย” แล้วลังเลว่าจะอ่านยากไหม สำหรับเราอ่านไม่ยากนะ ถึงคดีจะซับซ้อนขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ แต่ผู้เขียนคุมข้อมูลดี ทำให้ตามทันตลอด แถมมีจุดพีคแทรกเป็นระยะ ๆ เหมือนคนเขียนคอยโยนเงื่อนงำให้สงสัย แล้วพาเราไปติดกับดักการเดาของตัวเอง สิ่งที่ทำให้เล่มนี้เด่นมากคือ “คดีหลัก” ที่มีรอยสักคำประหลาดบนร่างเหยื่อ—“เหย้า เจ้า แพะ ทิ้ง พงส์” คำพวกนี้ทำหน้าที่เป็นทั้งปริศนาและกุญแจสำคัญ พออ่านไปเรื่อย ๆ จะรู้สึกว่าไม่ได้ใส่มาเท่ ๆ แต่ถูกออกแบบให้เชื่อมกับแรงจูงใจและวิธีเลือกเหยื่อแบบไม่ธรรมดา ใครชอบแนวฆาตกรวางแผนซับซ้อน น่าจะว้าวกับช่วงกลางถึงท้ายเล่ม คำถามที่เจอบ่อยอีกอย่างคือ “กาหลมหรทึก มีกี่ตอน” ถ้าหมายถึงจำนวนบท/ตอนในเล่ม อาจแตกต่างตามฉบับพิมพ์ เราเลยแนะนำวิธีง่าย ๆ คือดูสารบัญของฉบับที่ถืออยู่ (บางคนอ่านเป็นอีบุ๊กก็เช็กจากหน้าสารบัญได้เลย) แต่ถ้าหมายถึงความรู้สึกในการอ่าน เราว่าเล่มนี้แบ่งเป็นช่วง ๆ ชัดมาก: ช่วงปูคดี → ช่วงสืบสวนเข้มข้น → ช่วงเฉลยที่หักมุม → และยังมี “ท้ายเรื่อง” ที่เหมือนจะจบแล้วแต่ยังมีอะไรให้พีคอีก ทริคเล็ก ๆ ก่อนอ่านให้สนุกขึ้น: ลองจดชื่อผู้ต้องสงสัย/ความเชื่อมโยงไว้คร่าว ๆ (ไม่ต้องจริงจังมาก) เพราะรายละเอียดเยอะพอให้เราหลงทางได้ แล้วอย่ารีบอ่านข้ามฉากบรรยากาศ—เสน่ห์ของเรื่องคือความเป็นไทยยุคเก่าและความอึมครึมของเมืองช่วงสงคราม ซึ่งช่วยขับความน่ากลัวของคดีได้ดีมาก สุดท้าย ถ้าเจอฉบับ “ครบรอบ 10 ปี” ก็ถือว่าเป็นโอกาสดีเลยสำหรับคนอยากเก็บเล่มสวย ๆ ไว้อ่าน/สะสม ส่วนตัวอ่านจบแล้วเข้าใจเลยว่าทำไมคนถึงยกให้เป็นหนึ่งในนิยายสืบสวนไทยที่ควรลองสักครั้ง
