The story of "Sakaki Shiro," a biologist who was very passionate about butterflies, he started doing butterfly stuffs as a child, but with the wrong idea or whatever, he started to turn to human stuffs.
Good plot / storyline. Very fun. Dark. Easy to read. Easy to understand. There's nothing to win. I haven't read Master Kanae's work for a long time. After reading it, I miss it. Many people like to say that the teacher's work is very private. It will reflect the dark side of the human mind. This book too. It can be reflected like Oh!
The story is not very fast. It starts through the notes of Sakaki Shiro, who tells about life as a child, and the story of making a human stuff. And after that, which is not very interesting at the beginning, but only when starting a human stuff, it is impossible to put it down, so that reading the next chapter or going through another perspective (which is what you have to read for yourself) is enjoyable, not boring.
It is not very difficult to guess the content, because I already know that I will make a stuff, but it will have an unexpected turning point after going through other points of view or reading the following chapters. When I change the point of view, it changes some truths to another kind, which is not the only way to say that Ng is amazed.

Overall, it's very fun, dark. The story is still one chapter in the style of Master Kanae. Each view has a different set of truths than the reader knows which one is actually fake is the last page.
