I went to a power spot that represents Japan, famous for its thousand torii gates.
The scenery where the bright red torii gates continue is a masterpiece, and it feels like you are lost in another world. Each torii gate has the name of the devotee engraved on it, and you can feel the wishes and prayers of the people piled up.
The majestic atmosphere of the main hall and the tranquility of the approach to the shrine make you feel at ease. The vermilion of the torii and the green of nature are beautifully harmonized every time you walk along the road, and you want to stop and take pictures 📸✨
Since the whole mountain of Fushimi Inari is a sacred area, you can meet a quiet space with few people as you climb. History and faith are also breathed in small shrines, chozuya, and stone monuments on the way, and each one was like a story.
A must-see spot when visiting Kyoto. Both the lively daytime and the fantastic sunset are recommended 🌅

伏見稲荷大社を訪れた際、私は稲荷山の頂上までの散策にも挑戦しました。記事にもある通り、頂上までは片道約40分の登山となりますが、道中には「白旗大明神」や「白清大神」など歴史的な石碑や小さな祠が点在しており、それぞれに刻まれた奉納者の名前や祈りの言葉が、まるでタイムカプセルのように当時の信仰心を伝えてくれます。朱色の千本鳥居に囲まれた参道は不思議な神聖さがあり、歩くたびに心が落ち着き、自然と一体化していく感覚が得られました。 また、伏見稲荷大社の山はご神域とされているため、頂上に近づくほど観光客も少なくなり、静かな時間を過ごせます。個人的には夕暮れ時の千本鳥居が特におすすめで、赤い鳥居が夕陽に照らされて幻想的な空間を作り出す瞬間は、写真だけでなく心にも深く刻まれました。歩きやすい靴と水分を用意することをおすすめしますが、日常の喧騒から離れ、心身ともにリフレッシュできる最高のパワースポットだと実感しました。 このように伏見稲荷大社は単に「見る」だけでなく、「歩き」「感じる」体験型の観光地です。京都に行く際はぜひ時間をかけて訪れてみてください。きっと多くの人の願いが込められた千本鳥居の美しさと、ご神体山の静けさが、皆さんの旅の思い出を一層豊かにしてくれるでしょう。
