Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalem

So… do you know the difference between an inn and a pub? 👀

I’m down at the Old Trip to Jerusalem in Nottingham - which dates back to 1189 - and it got me thinking!

An inn traditionally offered travellers somewhere to stay overnight as well as food and drink, whereas a pub was mainly focused on serving drinks (and later food too).

So in simple terms… an inn was basically the early version of a hotel or Airbnb.

Did you already know the difference? 👇🏼
