Love my garden..

... Read moreGardening has been one of my favorite pastimes for years, and I can honestly say that my garden is my personal sanctuary. There is something deeply satisfying about nurturing plants from tiny seeds to flourishing blooms or ripe vegetables. One of the greatest benefits I've found is how calming the process is – tending to plants allows me to disconnect from the stresses of daily life and focus on nature's rhythms. When I first started, I made sure to select a mix of easy-care plants suited to my local climate, which meant less worry about constant maintenance. Over time, I experimented with different types of flowers and herbs, observing which thrived best. This trial and error phase was rewarding because it taught me patience and adaptation. I also recommend incorporating both ornamental and edible plants to create a garden that’s both beautiful and functional. Growing your own herbs or vegetables not only adds fresh flavors to your meals but also makes the gardening experience more interactive and fulfilling. Another aspect I appreciate is that gardening encourages me to spend more time outdoors, enjoying fresh air and natural light. This has been especially valuable during colder months when a bit of greenery brightens up the space and lifts my mood. For those new to gardening, starting small with containers or raised beds can make the process less overwhelming. Keeping a gardening journal to track plant growth and care routines is a simple way to stay organized and see progress over time. Ultimately, loving your garden is about embracing the journey, celebrating small successes, and finding joy in nature’s growth. Whether you have a sprawling backyard or a tiny balcony, gardening can enrich your life in countless ways.

Backyard Garden Update! Part 1
It’s been a while and a lot has grown! My husband desperately wanted to try growing our own watermelons this year so we grabbed a couple of starts from our local Tractor Supply and it’s done sooo well! We have yet to get a little melon to grow past the size of a quarter (too much rain recently)

My Garden
There’s just something magical about walking under my blooming Dutchman’s pipe vine and being greeted by a sea of sunflowers. This little garden of mine has become my favorite place to slow down, breathe, and reconnect. The vine not only brings whimsical beauty to the trellis, but it also helps

When I first moved into my new house I waited for my mom to help me plant a garden. Quality time with my mom, doing something we both love together, and learning from her really gave me some self love from it. It’s been about two months since she came to visit and i haven’t been able to take care o

Back to the Garden! 🪴🌸
I love spring for many reasons- more opportunities to hike, more sunshine in the afternoons, and it’s time to start gardening again! I have a few edible plants as well as decorative flowers I keep in my garden, but I also like to grow medicinal plants and herbs. These are some of the medicinal plan
