anyone else feel like they’re losing themselves lately? I recently have been in a funk these past few days…or months it even feels like 😩 idk why but I’ve been falling out of love with the one thing that has always kept me happy, which is playing in makeup! i remember those days when I was in high school/college and the only thing I always looked forward to after school was turning my ring light on and having fun doing all types of makeup looks on myself. i felt so carefree like I was in my own little world, I didn’t have to over think anything or worry about doing it for social media or what trend I had to follow next to try to fit in with what everyone else. but now it just feels like a chore and it’s honestly very frustrating trying to keep up especially with the way social media is and trying not to compare myself to others. i know this funk is temporary but i just miss being creative for the fun of it :( praying that I get my spark back 🙏🏾✨
