Why I decided to keep my pregnancy a secret 🤫

•Evil Eye

•I don’t really have many friends or family I’m really that close with to share anyway 😅

•I was embarrassed at first tbh

•Anything can happen at any stage during pregnancy, unfortunately, and even though I knew my baby was healthy throughout I still didn’t want to bear any shattering news if something were to go wrong.

•It honestly didn’t fully hit me that I was about to be a mom until like 7 months in lol. It’s such a indescribable feeling because I’m not gonna lie, it wasn’t something that I was initially excited about nor planned for this year, but once I fully saw her wittle face at my 32 week ultrasound it made the feeling so real and exciting for me 🥹

All in all I’m grateful to God for blessing us with our baby and I can’t wait to take in this new chapter 🤍

Pregnancy can be both a joyous and daunting experience, and everyone's journey is unique. It’s crucial to create a supportive environment, whether through online forums or personal networks, to connect with others who have similar experiences. Engaging with communities that focus on pregnancy can provide much-needed encouragement and support. Ultimately, the decision to share or keep such a significant life event private is deeply personal and varies from one individual to another. Every story deserves to be heard, and it’s vital to always prioritize mental well-being during this transformative period. Reflecting on milestones, many find that seeing an ultrasound for the first time becomes a turning point in embracing the impending motherhood. As the pregnancy progresses, the emotional connection often deepens, making every moment more precious. It’s vital to remember that whatever the choice may be regarding sharing the news, it should be one that feels right for the expectant mother.
