Trying the latest HEYTEA DRINKS
I don’t know about you but we usually go for HEYTEA grape drinks. But this time, we tried their 2 newer drinks - matcha latte and Coconut Mango Blue which is going viral on the internet.
Both drinks are pleasant but it’s not to the extent which I would crave for it again. Coconut mango blue is just a pretty coconut milk with mango drink. It has chewy sago pearls in it and that’s pretty much about it.
The Triple Supreme Matcha Latte is a tad too thick and creamy for my liking. Their matcha has a light fragrant taste. It doesn’t have a stronger grassy or umami note to it. In my opinion, it doesn’t taste like Japanese matcha at all. Over here, they use Jingyuan matcha which has a light green tea taste. The drink is stuffed with mochi and the combine text of green tea foam and mochi is just too much for me.
I’ll stick to their slushie-like drinks.
