This sight is one of the most advanced stadiums in the world (familiar to the style of Mercedes-Benz Stadium). The highlight here is the "roof" inspired by the aperture mechanism of the camera 📸.

The roof of the field consists of several giant overlapping plates that can rotate and slide on-off at the same time to form a circular cavity in the middle, just like the lens mechanism on a pro camera. This design is cool to keep events casual, no matter what the weather outside, and also to expose natural and breathable light as needed. ☀️☁️

This project has a budget of $1.6 billion (about $5.5 billion!). It has taken years of engineering design, advanced structural simulation, and the development of extremely complex automation. This moving roof weighs thousands of tons, but it has to work with millimeter accuracy despite its enormous size! 🏗️⚙️
