accusations with no proof no evidence nothing

Judged for no reason, I tried to reason to see if it was a misunderstanding. Still was told to leave. I have money I love the store. Just won't come back to this location ever again. It feels like they got bored with the security and wanted something to do. I have a disability and they made me uncomfortable by standing in my blind spot the customer explained.

If you want more of the product I suggest going to Richmond or waiting till Guilford opens they have better service don't waste your time in the Vancouver location they just might do this to you also.

Read moreHaving encountered similar situations myself, I understand how distressing it can be to face accusations without proof, especially when you are simply trying to enjoy a shopping experience. What stood out in this story is the lack of sensitivity from security personnel who made the customer uncomfortable by standing in their blind spot. For customers with disabilities, feeling safe and respected in public spaces is essential, and sadly, this was not the case here. From my experience, when visiting stores, especially new locations or ones you are less familiar with, it’s helpful to know your rights and the store’s policies on accommodating disabilities. In situations where you feel unfairly treated, remaining calm and asking to speak with a manager can sometimes help resolve misunderstandings. However, if the environment feels hostile or dismissive, as in this story, taking your business elsewhere is often the best choice. I appreciate the recommendation to visit alternate locations like Richmond or Guilford that reportedly offer better service. It’s good to hear that there are places nearby where customers are treated with respect and dignity. Sharing these personal experiences online is important because it raises awareness among both customers and store management about the need for improved training, especially regarding security staff and accommodation of disabilities. If you find yourself in a similar situation, documenting the incident and providing clear feedback to the corporate office can sometimes lead to changes that help prevent future negative experiences. Overall, this situation serves as a reminder that customer service should always be inclusive, respectful, and evidence-based to create a positive shopping environment for everyone.
