Is this a Cult????
Okay, so I was deep into my Palworld grind, building up my base, thinking I was a master rancher. Then, disaster struck! I started noticing my beloved Pals, especially my hardworking Lamballs and Cattivas, looking absolutely miserable. Their status changed to 'extremely unhealthy due to neglect'! My heart sank. Was I accidentally running a Palworld neglect cult? It felt awful. I mean, here I was, trying to build a thriving empire, and my little workers were suffering. I had to figure out what was going on, and fast. It turns out, 'extremely unhealthy due to neglect' isn't just a random status; it's a clear sign that your Pals aren't getting their basic needs met. For me, the biggest culprits were hunger and sanity. I thought having a few berry plantations was enough, but as my base grew and I had more Pals working (some even Lv38!), their food consumption skyrocketed. Plus, I wasn't paying enough attention to their stress levels. Those poor things were working non-stop, mining ore, chopping wood, and refining materials, without adequate breaks or comfort. I quickly realized I needed to step up my base management game. First, food: I started automating my food production way more effectively. Instead of just berries, I set up wheat farms, mill, and a cooking pot to make more nutritious meals. Trust me, spending that extra ¥60 on better ingredients or a second cooking pot is totally worth it. Happy Pals eat better! Second, sanity: This was a huge one. I built multiple Hot Springs – those things are lifesavers! Watching my Pals relax in them after a long day made me feel like a much better boss. Also, making sure every single Pal had a comfortable bed was crucial. No more sleeping on the cold ground for my diligent workers! Another thing I learned was about proper task assignment. I used to just let Pals wander and do whatever, but some tasks are more stressful than others. Assigning the right Pal to the right job, and not overworking them, makes a massive difference. The Pal Monitoring Station became my best friend; it lets you adjust work intensity. If a Pal is getting too stressed, I'd temporarily set them to 'relaxed' or even 'stop working' until their sanity recovered. Sometimes, if a Pal was really far gone, or if I needed a fresh start, I'd even consider using a 'Throw Pai Sphere' to catch a new one with better work suitability traits, or just to get a healthy replacement quickly. It sounds harsh, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do for the overall health of the base! So, if you're like me and suddenly find your Pals in an 'extremely unhealthy' state, don't panic! It’s usually a sign to re-evaluate your base's infrastructure and Pal care routines. Focus on consistent food supply, ensuring high sanity with comfort items like hot springs and good beds, and smart work management. Trust me, a little care goes a long way in keeping your Pals happy, healthy, and productive. No more neglect cults for me, just a thriving Palworld paradise!
