Let's talk about those delicious meal examples I shared. My protein spaghetti, for instance, is a total lifesaver. You saw it comes in at around 590 calories with a solid 36g of protein. What makes it so good? I love using a lean ground meat like 90/10 beef or ground turkey, and pairing it with a protein-enriched pasta. This combo keeps the calories in check while really boosting that protein count. If you're wondering what a "bowl of spaghetti calories" typically looks like, this is a fantastic benchmark for a balanced, high-protein version. For those of you curious about something like "1000 calories of spaghetti," that's a huge bowl! To hit that calorie count with plain spaghetti, you'd be looking at a massive portion, and it might be harder to keep the protein high without adding a lot of extra fat. My advice? Stick to a balanced serving like my protein spaghetti and add healthy sides if you need more calories, rather than one giant bowl of just pasta.
