Help My Deaf Mom Start Over After Losing Her Mom
This photo is one of the last moments between my mom and my grandma—two of the strongest women I know. We’ve been caregivers, fighters, and family-first through it all. But now, after losing my grandmother, both of us are grieving, broke, and displaced. My mom, Becky, is deaf and turning 65 this year. She lives on a small disability check and urgently needs to move back to Iowa where she has family, support, and a chance to start again.
I'm doing everything I can to help her—but I’m homeless now too, after giving up my own life to care for Grandma full-time. We don’t have the funds for the move, car repairs, storage, or even a proper memorial for Grandma. Every donation, every share, every kind word makes a difference.
Please help us reach our goal and bring my mom home:

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Stephanie is advocating for her deaf mother, Becky, to reunite with family after facing immense loss and hardship. They are currently navigating life as caregivers, having sacrificed so much for family. With your support through donations and shares, Becky can return to Iowa where she has vital support. In addition to the financial assistance for the move, emotional support is equally important during this challenging time. The deaf community plays a crucial role in providing networks for families facing similar challenges. Supporting this cause is a step towards uplifting those who often go unseen. Every bit helps in achieving the goal of safety, love, and community. Please consider contributing to the well-being of a family that has given so much.
