One practical way I've fostered this intimacy is by setting aside moments each day to be still and mindful of God's presence. This practice helps me feel anchored and less overwhelmed by life's uncertainties. The verse from James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you," has become a powerful reminder that our connection with God is reciprocal—when we seek Him with sincerity, He draws closer to support us. The peace that comes from this relationship doesn't mean the absence of problems, but rather the assurance that, no matter the storm, we have divine strength to rely on. It's like a calm center within the chaos. Over time, I've learned to trust this divine intimacy more deeply, and it reduces my fear of life's "waves." Building intimacy with God is not an overnight process but a continuous journey. It involves reading Scripture, honest reflection, and opening your heart to God's guidance daily. Like any meaningful relationship, it flourishes with time and attention. For anyone seeking peace and confidence amidst life’s trials, nurturing this divine intimacy can be a source of profound comfort and empowerment.
