Day 2 I’m more on the fence of getting one today 🫣
I've been exploring the idea of getting a Blackstone griddle for a couple of days now, and honestly, it's a tough call. The appeal lies in its versatility—you can cook everything from breakfast classics like pancakes and eggs to savory dishes like fajitas and grilled vegetables. What attracts me most is how it combines the ease of outdoor grilling with the convenience of a flat-top cooking surface, allowing plenty of creative freedom in the kitchen. On the other hand, I find myself questioning whether I really need one or if it's just the excitement of a new kitchen gadget talking. Considering my current cooking habits, I usually stick to a standard stove and oven, and while a Blackstone could expand my options, it might also require additional space and maintenance that I’m not sure I want to commit to yet. Reading reviews and watching cooking videos has helped me understand how quick and easy it is to cook using a Blackstone. Plus, the flavor and even cooking surface it offers are often praised by home chefs and food bloggers alike. That said, it's important to evaluate how often I would realistically use it to get the best value. If you’re on the fence too, I recommend thinking about your usual cooking style: do you enjoy experimenting with grilled foods or outdoor cooking? Do you have the space to store and use the griddle regularly? Taking these factors into account can make the decision clearer. For now, I’m continuing to research recipes and sharing cooking my way to a decision on whether a Blackstone griddle will be a game-changer for my kitchen or just an exciting maybe.
