secret 🤫I'm a grandma and I barely wear make up.

if I wear anything for make up it is mascara and eye liner.

my skin care consists of washing my face, exfoliating once a week and always putting essential oils on my face morning and night.

here is the list of oils I use

Morning:

almond oil - to help dark circles and puffiness

carrot seed oil - to help rejuvenate and anti age

jojoba oil - I mix it with the carrot seed oil but it also helps with improving my skin's elasticity

rose hip oil - to make my skin feel smooth, brighten and seal in moisture

prime rose oil - to firm my skin and it helps minimize fine lines

Evening:

Castor oil - nature's botox lol

I apply it to cleansed skin after a nice Epson salt bath, leave it on overnight, or wipe off with a warm cloth. I do not dilute it ,I wear it as a night mask.

sometimes I add the rose hip oil and primrose to it if my skin feels dry from the cold weather.

Look for cold-pressed, pure versions of the oils for best results.

... Read moreAs someone who prefers a natural approach to skincare, I’ve found that embracing essential oils can truly transform your skin, especially when you want to keep makeup minimal. Starting my day with almond oil has helped reduce the stubborn dark circles and puffiness around my eyes, which became more noticeable as I aged. Combining carrot seed and jojoba oils creates a fantastic blend that not only rejuvenates my skin but also improves its elasticity — a key factor in maintaining a youthful appearance. I also swear by rose hip oil in the mornings; it brightens my complexion and locks in moisture, leaving my skin feeling smooth and hydrated all day. Adding primrose oil makes a visible difference in firming my skin and minimizing fine lines — a secret weapon that works gently but effectively over time. My evening ritual is just as important. After a warm Epsom salt bath that relaxes me, I apply pure castor oil directly to my cleansed face. It acts like a natural botox, tightening and nourishing my skin overnight. Occasionally, I mix it with a bit of rose hip and primrose oil when chilly weather dries out my skin, ensuring I wake up refreshed and glowing. A crucial tip is always to choose cold-pressed, pure oils for maximum benefit. Over the years, this simple and consistent routine has maintained my skin’s health and glow without the need for heavy makeup beyond mascara and eyeliner. It feels liberating to age gracefully while relying on natural, skin-loving ingredients that respect my skin’s needs.
