maybe find something else to do

2/8 Edited to

... Read moreSometimes, in our personal or professional lives, we encounter moments where a task or project simply doesn’t feel right anymore. Whether it’s due to lack of interest, diminishing returns, or burnout, knowing when to move on and find something else to do can save us time and frustration. From my own experience, I realized that staying stuck in something unproductive can drain energy and creativity. It’s important to listen to your instincts and emotions—if you consistently feel tired, uninterested, or overwhelmed, it might be a sign to reevaluate your priorities. One helpful approach is setting clear goals and tracking progress. When progress stalls or the goals no longer excite you, it’s useful to reflect on why that is. Sometimes it’s external factors like environment or support, and other times it may be internal, such as a change in interests or values. Exploring alternatives doesn’t mean giving up; it means adapting. For example, trying a new hobby, switching tasks at work, or learning new skills can rekindle your passion and open doors to unexpected opportunities. I’ve found that even a brief change of focus can recharge motivation and creativity. Additionally, talking to others about your feelings can provide fresh perspectives. Friends, colleagues, or mentors might suggest options you hadn’t considered. In summary, finding something else to do is not about failure but about growth and self-awareness. It’s a natural part of managing a fulfilling and balanced life. When you embrace this mindset, you create space for new possibilities and personal development.

Things To Do On Long Flights
Some people love the excitement of travel- walking through the airport, sitting on the plane, looking at the beautiful clouds through the window, etc. Personally, I don't enjoy this experience much, and wish for time to go by faster on flights so I can be at my destination. If you are like me,

Does anyone else do this when writing?
I love using my laptop, don’t get me wrong. But there is something just so satisfying about using a pen and paper to write down your thoughts. I have a habit of scratching out each mistake that I make and it’s a religious part of my writing process. I can’t be the only one, right?! #writingabook
