Paragliding 🪂in Nepal??

How much did it cost? Was it safe?

🪂Activity Review

💸 ~$88 SGD - including complimentary photos/videos with a gopro camera, pick up and drop off at your hotel/hostel.

✨Activity/Experience: 9/10 (minus 1 because of bad weather and motion sickness)

💭Thoughts: definitely worth it!! Lasted roughly around 20 minutes and was given a chance to steer the paraglide :D the weather was not on our side but if you’re lucky and the skies are clear, you will have a panaromic view of the 🏔️ snow capped himalayan mountains 🤩

(* note: be prepared to wait ~2 hours if the wind conditions are bad)

🤔Would go again? Probably not

Do I recommend it? Yes!!

although it was very enjoyable, I am very prone to motion sickness and felt 😵‍💫 nauseous after the ride (i took motion sickness pills and it did not help much)

Pokhara

Guide to Pokhara

- Activities:

• 🚣‍♀️ kayaking at phewa lake

• 🏄‍♀️ paddle board

•🛼 skating rink

- Food recommendation:

• El Bocaito Español 🇪🇸

> spanish restaurant by phewa lake, every single item on the menu was mouth-watering 🤤 my friends and I ate 4 meals here

• We also ate at other local restaurants and the food was also really good

if you are doing the Annapurna/Mardi Himal/Poon Hill trek please spend a few days in Pokhara 🌅

... Read moreIf you're considering paragliding in Pokhara, it's helpful to know a few insider tips from my experience. The cost of around $88 SGD covers not only the flight but also complimentary GoPro videos and convenient hotel pick-up and drop-off, making it great value overall. However, be prepared for potential delays—wind conditions can keep you grounded for up to two hours, so patience is key. Safety is well-managed by the local operators, but if you’re prone to motion sickness like I am, take extra precautions as the pills might not fully prevent nausea. Steering the glider yourself added a fun interactive element to the ride, and if the skies are clear, the bird’s eye view of the snow-capped Himalayan peaks is breathtaking. While paragliding is the highlight, Pokhara offers many other activities worth exploring. Phewa Lake is perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding, complemented by scenic sunset strolls and great local food. I loved dining at El Bocaito Español near the lake—every dish was delicious, and it was a perfect way to unwind after adventures. If you plan to trek the Annapurna Circuit or Mardi Himal, spending a few days in Pokhara to enjoy these activities and recover is highly recommended. The combination of thrilling flights, serene lake activities, and fantastic food makes Pokhara a memorable destination beyond just paragliding.

Best things to do in Queenstown, New Zealand✨
Queenstown is known as the adventure capital of the world, and rightfully so imo, so many things to do despite being a small city! Quite hard to pick a favourite but will probably be between paragliding, hang gliding and the heli ride. 🤩 #newzealandtravelguide #thingstodoinnewzealand
