My Tenosynovitis Recovery Journey!💫
The biggest change I notice now when using my hand is that I don’t have to avoid certain movements anymore.✊🏻
Before, whenever I twisted a bottle cap, opened packaging, or pressed a pump bottle, I would first think about whether my right hand was going to hurt.😣
At its worst, whenever I turned my wrist, the area at the base of my thumb would hurt so much that I would immediately let go. Later, I started using my left hand for many things because I was too afraid to use my right hand.❌
But simply protecting it wasn’t a solution. I had tried resting and wearing a wrist brace before. It felt better for a few days, but once I did housework, typed, or picked things up, the pain would come back.🙁
I found Huayilang Patch in a tenosynovitis recovery post. The person’s symptoms were so similar to mine. After reading it, I went to Amazon and bought one box first to see if it would actually work.🙏🏻
I applied it to the area where the base of my thumb connects to my wrist, which was exactly where it hurt the most when I twisted things.✨
The next day after using it, I noticed the difference when opening a bottle of water. Before, turning my wrist would cause pain, but that day I could slowly twist it open. There was still some soreness, but the sudden pulling pain was gone.🎉
After finishing the first box, I was able to use my hand more normally. I could press the soap pump without pulling my hand back, tear open delivery packages without pain from the pulling motion, and hold a cup without constantly switching hands. 🤭Once that aching and tight feeling eased, I naturally felt much more relaxed.🍃
Later, I bought two more boxes and continued using it. After the second box, twisting bottle caps was basically no longer a problem.🥰
After finishing the third box, I could cook, type, and carry small bags normally, and my tenosynovitis stopped coming back every few days.
Now I can use my right hand freely, and my thumb doesn’t hurt no matter how I apply force.✅
The recovery process actually wasn’t that complicated. The important thing was not trying random things here and there. I found a patch that worked for my painful area, kept using it consistently, and avoided movements that involved too much twisting or pulling. Slowly, my wrist became stable again.💕
