One month later… I’m still reaching for the ESR Digital Pencil over my Apple Pencil. It’s affordable, reliable, and has all the features I actually use. Here’s my honest one-month review 👇
It doesn’t feel too different from the Apple Pencil at all. One thing I noticed is that it’s a lot lighter than the Apple Pencil, which I actually like better, it feels more comfortable in my hand. It doesn’t lag either. It has pressure sensitivity that makes writing and drawing feel really smooth.
Now, the battery life is a little bit shorter than the Apple Pencil, and I do have to manually charge it instead of it charging automatically when it’s connected to the iPad. But to be honest, I haven’t really noticed it being an issue. It’s still been super convenient.
And for the price? It’s only $30 compared to the Apple Pencil, which is over $200. I genuinely think it’s a great alternative if you don’t want to spend that much. I definitely recommend it.

From my personal experience, this stylus is a practical choice for iPad users seeking quality functionality without the premium cost.
