How to brighten your outdoor photos on iPhone ☀️

Sometimes when you take photo it comes out looking dull even though it’s a sunny day! So you need to edit your photos to give it a little glow up. This entire glow-up was done using ONLY the iPhone photo editor no fancy photo editing apps, needed. Just scroll to your photo, hit “Edit,” and adjust the settings listed on the second photo!

Perfect for outdoor shots that feel a little dull or grey.

Try it on your own pics and thank me later 😌✨

... Read moreIf you've ever captured a sunny outdoor photo only to find it looks washed out or your skin shows unwanted sunburn effects, you're not alone. Beyond just brightening the overall image, you can specifically tone down harsh reds typical of sunburn by carefully adjusting color settings in the iPhone editor. Increasing "Brilliance" helps reveal details hidden in shadows and can make your photo look more vivid without overexposing highlights. Try subtly lowering the "Saturation" or "Warmth" if the sunburn tones feel too strong. Coupled with enhancing contrast and adjusting the shadows, this can balance skin tones and reduce the sunburned look effectively. I often find this approach more natural than applying heavy filters or third-party apps. Remember, start with small incremental edits and preview your changes frequently. The built-in tools are surprisingly powerful once you get familiar with them. Also, consider shooting in HDR mode next time to avoid losing detail in bright or uneven lighting. These tips elevate your outdoor shots and keep your iPhone photos looking fresh and beautifully balanced every time.
