Day 3 in Japan🗼🇯🇵 #japantrip #japanfood #tokyocafe #travelvlog #sapporo
Traveling through Japan on Day 3 offered so many surprises that truly enriched my experience. Starting the day with a unique dipping ramen at Ramen Restaurant Kinoshita was unlike any ramen I'd ever tried before. The combination of noodles dipped in flavorful broth was perfect, especially since I was feeling a bit under the weather from the previous night. Adding to the adventure, I discovered local remedies like 'WONDA' drinks and supplements meant to help with hangovers, which is quite common in Japan. One thing I quickly realized is that Japanese stores and cafes tend to open later in the morning, often around 10:00am, which was a contrast from North America’s early hours. This made me wonder how locals spend their mornings before opening time. When it was time to move on, the swift two-hour flight to Sapporo was effortless, but I was surprised by the heavy snow and cold weather as soon as I arrived. Sapporo is famous for its powder snow—a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts. The food scene in Sapporo was just as outstanding as Tokyo, with affordable and delicious dishes found in food courts and local eateries like izakayas, where I experienced a smoking-friendly atmosphere inside restaurants, something quite unusual but culturally significant in Japan. To end the day, I immersed myself in a traditional Japanese onsen at the hotel. This naked bathing experience was both relaxing and a cultural eye-opener, allowing me to unwind completely and reflect on the day’s adventures. This journey taught me that traveling Japan is not only about famous landmarks but also about embracing local customs, culinary delights, and unique daily life rhythms. It’s an experience that combines rich cultural immersion with modern conveniences, perfect for any traveler seeking authenticity and unforgettable memories.
