Little-Known Career Review: CRM & Retention👩🏻‍💻

Hello, today I would like to share a career that we think many people do not know is CRM & Retention. I personally came to know this line of work when I was working at our old bots. At that time, I was working at one of the travel bots, which we just came to understand when I was working that all the emails we received or notifications from the app were CRM & Retention.

What's this career about?

CRM & Retention is to take care of the customer or user relationship to the brand we do. As is the case, we do take is that we have to maintain the user relationship of the app to keep looping back and forth, order with the app, etc.

What functions does this profession perform?

In order for us to maintain customers back to the brand, there must be a channel for communication, which for CRM & Retention will also be email, push notifications, in-app pop-up, LINE OA, etc. But both channels also use different ways to communicate. Our job is to look at the data behind the house, analyze user behavior, and then execute the communication with the customer. For example, we do an app, we have to see if they are in the group that has been pressed in. Interested in anything, and then will communicate with the customer exactly what we think they are interested in and shopping. The profession also has to analyze the customer journey to know what to do to get the customer to where we want him to go.

What can this profession do?

For us, we think that all lines are available, but think that it will vary according to the industry we do because Tech may use different methods with FMSG, etc., but think that any way can adapt.

Is this a good salary?

We may not answer exactly because it was just a second job at that time, but think that if you keep doing this line, the salary is up already and think that it is good because it feels that there are few people doing this line and probably want to stay.

What skills does this profession require?

This is thought to be most important as analytical skills and creative skills because data analysis is so important it helps work see the results clearly and indispensable is creativity. This is important too because data analysis is good, but visual isn't able to see the results either.

Anyone who thinks they like to do something like this, try to find a job with work like this. Personally, I think it's very fun because I can think of doing a lot of things and can also be extended to UX / UI Designer. If anyone is an app and likes creativity, if extended this way, the salary should be fabulous. Hahahahaha
