I recently came across the verse Matthew 10:22, which says, 'You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.' This verse can sound a little daunting at first, right? It made me think deeply about what it truly means to have faith and how that ties into our journey with God. When I first read 'hated by everyone,' my initial thought was about extreme persecution. But as I've grown in my understanding, I realize it's not always about overt hatred. Sometimes, it’s simply about being misunderstood, having your values challenged, or feeling isolated because your beliefs don't align with popular culture. In a world that often pulls us in so many directions, standing firm in faith can feel like going against the current. This is where the core message of 'Impossible to please God without Faith!' really resonates with me. How can we stand firm to the end if we don't have that foundational faith? It's our belief in God, in His goodness, and in His plan for us that gives us the strength to endure. The Bible tells us in Hebrews 11 verse 6 that 'without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.' This verse from the OCR really highlights why faith isn't just a suggestion, but an absolute necessity for anyone wanting a relationship with God. For me, answering God’s call has been a journey of discovery. There have been moments when I felt truly tested, where my faith was the only thing I could cling to. It’s in those times that remembering 'God has a plan for you!' becomes incredibly comforting. His plan isn't always easy, but it's always purposeful. Having faith in God means trusting that even when things are difficult, He is working all things for good. The idea of 'standing firm to the end' is about perseverance. It's about not giving up when the path gets tough, when doubt creeps in, or when you feel alone. It’s about continually reaching out to Him, even when you might be 'falling back a little bit,' as the OCR mentioned. It reminds me that my relationship and journey with Jesus Christ is ongoing. And the rewards for this perseverance? They are truly limitless! As the OCR also pointed out, 'the outcomes from having faith are limitless.' It's not just about salvation in the distant future, but also about the peace, joy, and guidance we experience daily. He rewards us with a deeper understanding, a stronger spirit, and a sense of belonging that nothing else in this world can offer. When I practice 'Have Faith in God!', I see how He rewards me daily, not just with big blessings, but in the quiet moments of peace and clarity. So, if you're wrestling with what it means to 'stand firm' or how to navigate challenges to your faith, remember that it all starts with cultivating a genuine belief in God. Answer God's call that you feel in your heart and mind. Because when you truly have faith, you unlock His incredible plan for your life and find the strength to endure, no matter what comes your way.
