In the mounyains north of Creede, Co theres some.gorgeous 4wheel drive trails. They take you through the old mines and mills that made Creede a silver boom town.
From the Holy Moses to the Amethyst mine and several others, you can find them on the loop to get a view of life during the late 1800's. Several structures still stand to this day not to mention some gorgeous views along the way. Be warned, however, that you will need a 4wheel drive vehicle to make the most of the area.
I still think some of the places with the best views are the places with nothing else but the trees and rocks, no hint of human activity.
