Lần đầu, là lời hỏi thăm.
Lần cuối, là lời chúc nhau sống tốt.
Reflecting on the simplicity and depth of the phrases "Lần đầu, là lời hỏi thăm" (The first time is a greeting) and "Lần cuối, là lời chúc nhau sống tốt" (The last time is a wish to live well), I find they resonate with universal human experiences. In many cultures, the first greeting marks the beginning of connection, curiosity, and openness between individuals. It symbolizes care and willingness to engage. On the other hand, the last words exchanged often carry a heavier emotional weight, offering hope, encouragement, or blessing as people part ways, sometimes indefinitely. The recognition captured in the phrase "Không làm tan nát nghĩa tình thương mong..." (Do not shatter bonds of affection and hope) reminds me how vital it is to cherish relationships and approach farewells with kindness. In my own life, I’ve noticed that the quality of greetings and farewells often sets the tone for our interactions and memories. Whether meeting someone for the first time or saying goodbye, these moments hold therapeutic value. Taking time to sincerely inquire about others or offer heartfelt well-wishes enriches bonds and eases transitions. Ultimately, embracing these moments attentively can foster lasting empathy and respect in all our relationships. They remind us that even brief exchanges carry the potential for deep emotional connection and meaningful impact.
