Here’s the thing, skincare isn’t going to stop you from aging.

So rather than making promises we can’t keep, I partnered with @MERIT Beauty to share the steps that will actually make a difference. Because if there’s one thing I think is missing from a lot of skincare routines, it’s honesty. #meritpartner

... Read moreFrom my personal experience, embracing the reality that skincare won't halt aging has been a game-changer. After pregnancy and going through perimenopause, I've noticed my skin becoming drier and more sensitive, confirming how hormones heavily influence skin changes. No cream has magically lifted sagging skin or replaced bone volume, but using products with retinoids has noticeably improved my skin's texture by boosting collagen production. Sunscreen is another essential step I never skip. It protects the collagen we already have and prevents further damage from UV rays, which accelerates visible aging. Hydration also plays a crucial role; a good moisturizer helps maintain skin barrier function, smoothing out fine lines and reducing dryness. What I appreciate most is shifting the mindset from trying to freeze time to nurturing skin health. Skincare is about resilience and care, especially as our bodies go through natural changes like menopause or postpartum phases. Choosing honest products that support skin rather than promising unrealistic anti-aging results makes a real difference in long-term skin wellness.

here's your sign to leave that friendship
Stop settling. Let me repeat - STOP SETTLING. In any relationship. You should be extremely selective about who you spend your time with and who has access to you. For most of my life, I’ve had certain friendships that don’t make me feel GOOD. Often, this was out of fear of feeling alone.
