My journey into plastic surgery wasn't just a career choice; it was a calling fueled by a deep desire to help people feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin. As a board-certified plastic surgeon based right here in the heart of Nashville, TN, I've had the immense privilege of working with countless incredible individuals over the past five years. It’s hard to believe how much has happened since my first professional photoshoot back in 2019. I remember being 33 years old, stepping in front of the camera for the first time as a new plastic surgeon, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. There was so much uncertainty, so many new challenges ahead, but also an unwavering belief in the positive impact I could make. Fast forward to today, at 39, it's amazing to reflect on the growth and resilience that journey has brought. Opening Amaka Aesthetics was a dream come true, a place where personalized care meets cutting-edge techniques. We’ve built an incredible team that shares my vision for compassionate and comprehensive patient care. Every day, I get to witness transformations, not just physically, but in the renewed confidence and joy my patients experience. That's truly the most rewarding part of what I do. It’s more than just procedures; it’s about empowering individuals to embrace their best selves. We believe in providing a supportive environment where everyone feels heard and understood. One of the biggest passions that led me to start this social media account, and indeed, to build Amaka Aesthetics, is a deep commitment to education. There’s so much information out there, and sometimes it can feel overwhelming or even misleading. My goal is always to demystify plastic surgery, to explain procedures clearly, discuss recovery honestly, and share practical tips for long-term health and wellness. Whether it's discussing the nuances of different aesthetic treatments or the science behind maintaining healthy skin, I truly believe that an informed patient is an empowered patient. This commitment extends beyond the consultation room; it’s woven into every aspect of our practice. Speaking of maintaining healthy skin, it’s been incredibly exciting to see the launch of our very own skincare line! This was a project born out of years of clinical experience and a desire to provide patients with effective, science-backed solutions to complement their aesthetic goals. It’s another way we strive to offer practical, valuable support for your beauty and wellness journey. From that nervous photo shoot at 33 to launching a skincare line at 39, the path has been challenging yet incredibly fulfilling. I’m constantly learning, growing, and striving to bring the very best to my patients in Nashville and beyond. Thank you for being a part of this journey, and I genuinely look forward to connecting with you all more deeply.

iOS 18! Let’s talk about it!
Every time there’s a new iOS, it does something to my little heart, I start planning in my head how I’m going to use new features to help me not only become more productive at my job or tasks, but also become a better me. I’ll be adding how I plan to use these features at work and or better myself.
