However, because of their sugar content, it's best to offer them only sparingly within a well-balanced diet. I usually pick fresh, organic blueberries and rinse them gently under cold water before serving. This simple step helps prevent any potential health issues and ensures my dragon enjoys a tasty, safe snack. You can feed blueberries whole or cut into smaller pieces for easier consumption, especially for younger dragons. Remember, variety is key to a healthy bearded dragon diet. Incorporate blueberries alongside leafy greens, vegetables, and insects for balanced nutrition. If your dragon shows interest in berries, blueberries can be a delightful addition to their meal plan, but always monitor their reactions and adjust portions accordingly.

DIY fruit roll ups
