BIOGRAPHY: Scott Frasard is an experienced learning and evaluation professional who has worked in government, academic, and corporate organizations globally. Scott is an adult educator of 30 years, has an M.Ed. Human Resource & Organization Development and PhD in Adult Education from The University of Georgia and a M.Ed. in Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment from the University of Illinois – Chicago. He is currently a psychometrician full time in a global certification organization, teaches part time at the undergraduate level, speaks at conferences globally on adult education and evaluation topics, and publishes in these areas https://www.linkedin.com/in/scottfrasard/
At age 48, Scott was formally identified as being autistic. Since then, he has expanded his research agenda to include increasing instructor acceptance of neurodiversity issues in corporate and higher education. He is an autistic advocate, speaking to a wide audience on various neurodiversity-affirming topics important to the #ActuallyAutistic community. About Cultural Autism Studies at Yale (CASY, the ethnography project led by Dr. Dawn Prince-Hughes). An 'ethnography' is an exploration of how a group of people express themselves in a cultural way. Autistic people have a growing kind of culture, and each autistic experience is a vital part of it. Dr. Dawn Prince-Hughes is an anthropologist, ethnographer, primatologist, and author who is autistic. Join her for an exploration of the importance of autistic self-expression and the culture that grows from it.
