A Seed planted to Grow

I was 15 when my racist step dad kicked me out. I was going through a lot. My mom left. I was Homeless. I had to vent. So I started writing. Fast forward 25 years later and I’m getting ready to publish my first poetry book. “A Seed Planted to Grow”. I can not wait !

Poetry, in particular, allows individuals to express their deepest thoughts and experiences, transforming pain into beauty. The journey from trauma to triumph often inspires others facing similar circumstances. Joseph’s work not only highlights his personal struggles but also serves as a beacon of hope for those navigating their own challenges. As he prepares to publish 'A Seed Planted to Grow', readers can look forward to themes of resilience, self-discovery, and the healing nature of art. Engaging with trauma through creative writing can foster a sense of community and understanding among readers. Joseph's story reaffirms that no matter the difficulties we endure, we can cultivate our own seeds of hope and growth through the written word.
