Korean Feast at Namu Bulgogi

/Namu Bulgogi (Tampines 1)

The Jeong Set B at Namu Bulgogi is one of those meals that quietly overdelivers.

The oakwood smoke grilled oxtail is deep, rich, and properly satisfying, while the cheesy gyeran jjim brings that soft, comforting balance to the table. Together, it feels complete without trying too hard.

It’s the kind of place you plan for dinner and end up lingering longer than expected.

... Read moreIf you’re a fan of Korean cuisine and appreciate meals that balance bold flavors with comforting textures, Namu Bulgogi’s Jeong Set B is definitely worth a visit. What truly stands out is the oakwood smoke grilled oxtail; it carries a deep, smoky richness that feels hearty and fulfilling without being overpowering. This method of smoking not only enhances the meat’s flavor but also creates a tender texture that melts in your mouth. Complementing the robust oxtail is the cheesy gyeran jjim— a Korean steamed egg dish that offers a soft, creamy contrast. The subtle cheesy note adds a unique twist, turning a simple classic into a memorable accompaniment that perfectly balances the savory meat. The set also features other delightful items like the spicy meljeot clam and mussel pot, which bring fresh seafood flavors with a spicy kick, and the 2-in-1 oakwood smoked grilled chicken with corn cheese, providing variety in textures and tastes that round out the meal. Dining at Namu Bulgogi is more than just eating; it’s an experience where you can indulge slowly, savor each dish, and enjoy the cozy atmosphere that encourages lingering over dinner. Located conveniently in Tampines 1, it’s an excellent choice for anyone looking to explore authentic Korean dishes in Singapore. Whether you’re planning a casual dinner or a special outing with friends, the Jeong Set B offers a satisfying and memorable feast that's ideal for two. Based on my experience, I’d recommend trying the Jeong Set B during an evening visit to fully appreciate the smoky aromas and the warm, comforting dishes. It’s a perfect example of how well-crafted Korean set meals can deliver both in flavor and portion. For Korean food lovers and newcomers alike, Namu Bulgogi’s offerings provide a delicious, authentic taste of Korean cuisine right in the heart of Tampines.

Realistic investments for your 30s ✨🥹
Alright peopleeeee we are heading into the mid-30s soon. There’s so much noise about aging, and I know people who will never reveal their age but there is so much freedom in just embracing it. Also, can we talk about how the 30s are so much better than the 20s? No complaints here. My husband

We had the Jeong Set B ($88) and watching them grill the chicken over open oakwood flames is such a vibe. 🍗 The Signature Tongdak-gui with Kimchi Cheong is super smoky, but the real winner is the Oakwood Smoke-Grilled Oxtail. 🤤 It’s slow-cooked for 8 hours and literally falls off the bone. 🦴✨
