It’s always so exciting to see my little Eastern Box Turtle, Splinter, get excited for mealtime! For the plant portion, I usually offer a mix of dark leafy greens like collard greens, dandelion greens, and mustard greens. I chop them up finely so Splinter can easily munch on them. Other good veggies include shredded carrots, bell peppers, and squash. When it comes to fruits, these should be given sparingly, more like a treat.
