... Read moreIf you're on the hunt for a unique dining experience in Manhattan, let me tell you about Hamachi Sushi 34. I recently stumbled upon this incredible anime themed spot, and it immediately became one of my favorites for a casual yet captivating meal. It's truly a gem among the many culinary options in NYC. What truly sets it apart, beyond the delicious food, is the vibrant atmosphere. The entire restaurant is adorned with an amazing collection of anime figures, making it feel like you've stepped right into a collector's dream. It's not just decorative; I noticed many were actually for sale, which is such a cool touch! This makes it a genuinely cute anime sushi destination, perfect for fans looking for an immersive experience that goes beyond just the food. Every corner offers something new to admire, adding a playful and cozy vibe to your dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food, especially their fantastic lunch specials at this spot. It's hard to beat the value and quality, especially in NYC. I was blown away by the option of any 3 rolls for $15. You get a generous selection, and each roll I tried was fresh and perfectly prepared. But my absolute go-to was the $15 bento box. It came packed with a delightful variety – usually some perfectly cooked salmon, fresh rolls, and a side salad, making it incredibly satisfying without feeling heavy. For those looking for something a bit heartier, they also have $15 beef fried rice and the two special combo for $27, which offers even more variety with chef-selected choices. It's a fantastic way to sample different dishes and get a full meal without breaking the bank. The fact that you can see the chefs skillfully preparing your meal right in front of you adds to the authentic experience. It really highlights the freshness and care that goes into every dish at Hamachi Sushi 34. If you're looking for an anime restaurant NYC has to offer that combines great food with a fun, themed environment, Hamachi Sushi 34 is definitely worth adding to your list. It's not just a meal; it's an experience that brightens your day. I highly recommend going during lunch to take advantage of those amazing deals!
