These are probably the most common questions I get around our journey of healing after infidelity…

And I totally get it…so I want to give the answers to it all…

Number 1, I think it’s important to note for the strangers on here, that I’m a very strong, capable, smart, financially free woman that did NOT HAVE to stay…I CHOSE TO STAY…

I’m not a naive, wounded little girl that felt like she didn’t have any other choice…I had a lot of choices and to stay was mine…

Next, it’s important to know that, Yes, of course in the very beginning I worried if it would happen again, or if he’d keep hiding, and I questioned if I’d ever trust again…fully…

But because of the DEEP healing and work we did as individuals and then as a couple, I truly have zero fear for any of it, and I trust him now more than I ever did…

You see, we didn’t rebuild our marriage…

We burned the previous one down and built something brand new from the ashes…

Our communication is more clear, more open and more vulnerable than it’s ever been…we have the conversations always…even when it’s really freaking hard….

We do the work everyday to make sure we both feel emotionally safe within the relationship…

We hold nothing in anymore, and the trust was built back one day at a time with his consistent and committed action, and now I trust him fully because I know he’s done the work to clear those old demons and we have no secrets on any level, big or small…

When you’ve been through hell and back with someone and you are BOTH COMMITTED to being better, skies the limit when it comes to healing…

I had things I needed to heal as well…

It’s been a journey over the last 3+ years of healing but I wouldn’t change a thing because the union we have now is a Sacred one that is pure and unf*uckablewith now!
