First off SAVE this for a reminder later…

I am not just THE Betrayal Recovery Mentor for Women because I’ve been a mentor for 15+ years! I’m the BRQueen because I have LIVED Experience and Embodied Healing to back it up and NO ONE DOES IT LIKE ME…I’m Years on the other side and I am the happiest I’ve ever been in my marriage and with MYSELF…(seems cocky? Keep reading)…⁣

Here are 3 Things + Bonus I want you to do TODAY to make you feel better…⁣

1. I don’t care where you are for the day…I want you to take 5 minutes and shake your ass!! I don’t want to hear, “I can’t dance!” Or “I’m at work.” Go in the bathroom stall, lock yourself in the bedroom, or dance with your kids…but I want you to turn on something that makes your hips move and SHAKE THAT ASS!! Will you be uncomfortable? Probably, do it anyways! Could it make you emotional? Maybe…⁣

After betrayal you lose the connection to your body and get stuck in your head. Move those hips, try to twerk, drop it like it’s hot…just do it and thank me later. (Literally DM me and tell me about it.) ⁣

2. Did you think I was cocky in the opening?…GOOD, now I want YOU to get cocky…grab a piece of paper or DM me (for real) and GO OFF on something you’re great at and why…you are special and valuable and beautiful and bad ass but betrayal has tried to block you from remembering that…so let’s crack it back open!! If your best friend was talking about you to a stranger what are the great things they’d say?⁣

3. Any moment today when you start to spiral or feel the pain of betrayal, I want you to shake and sound it out…what this looks like in the simplest terms is to stand up, bounce your heels on the ground shake your arms and breathe in through the nose w/audible exhale or screams out of the mouth. Move the energy OUT!⁣

BONUS: If you are ready to start recovering from betrayal, regulate your nervous system, heal the pain, and reclaim your confidence…Get your BETRAYAL RECOVERY GUIDE TODAY!! Currently it’s ONLY $77! It’s a self-paced Private Podcast paired with a Printable Guidebook, that intentionally takes you through the process of healing betrayal trauma.⁣

I know it’s EASY to wallow in the pain, but this is your sign to take back control! 🔥#betrayalrecovery

1/13 Edited to

... Read moreLiving through betrayal is one of the most disorienting experiences a person can face. It leaves you feeling disconnected not only emotionally but often physically—as the original post highlights, our minds get overactive while our bodies feel numb or shut down. One approach that has personally helped me regain balance is intentional movement paired with emotional expression. For example, dedicating even five minutes daily to dance or simply shake your hips can reestablish that lost connection to your own body. I recall a time when I felt stuck in endless negative thoughts after betrayal, and the physical release through movement surprisingly helped wash away mental fog and brought me back to the present moment. Another critical step is deliberately affirming your value and strengths. Betrayal often chips away at our self-esteem, making us doubt our worthiness. Writing down or saying aloud what makes you unique and valuable can be a powerful tool. It might feel awkward or even boastful at first, but embracing your positive traits and achievements nurtures self-love and resilience. I found that imagining how a close friend would describe my best qualities helped me rediscover confidence that betrayal tried to suppress. When emotional pain or spiral thoughts hit, shaking your arms, bouncing on your heels, or even expressive screaming can be important ways to discharge stagnant energy. This physical release isn't just about movement but about signalling to your nervous system that it’s safe to relax and let go of tension. Incorporating breathing techniques, like deep inhales followed by audible exhales, amplifies this effect. Through my own healing journey, these somatic practices have often felt like pressing a reset button on my emotional overwhelm. For anyone ready to deepen their recovery, guided resources such as a betrayal recovery podcast with a printable guidebook can be invaluable. These tools offer structured steps, insights, and encouragement that complement informal daily practices. Feeling supported while learning about nervous system regulation and healing trauma equips you to reclaim your confidence and joy. Remember, healing after betrayal isn’t linear or quick, but adopting consistent, embodied practices along with self-compassion rebuilds your foundation. You are not alone in this, and taking these actionable steps today can make a meaningful difference in your well-being and happiness.
