How I lost 60 poundsIn 7 months

I went from 235 → 175 in a little less than 7 months.

Here are the habits that actually helped me lose weight and keep it off:

1. I stopped dieting and started eating mindfully.

Instead of cutting out foods, I focused on staying within a 1600–1700 calorie range most days.

If I wanted something sweet or “bad,” I just budgeted it in.

It’s wild, but allowing myself that freedom actually made me want to make better choices — without feeling like I was missing out.

2. I started focusing on moving more — not just on working out.

My goal was to try to hit 10,000 steps a day.

I went to random workout classes through ClassPass, which helped!

But honestly, walking and staying active made it easier to keep up my progress.

3. I realized that losing weight isn’t just physical — it’s mental.

Once I took off the pressure and started building habits, that’s when I began seeing real results.
